History

twins GmbH was founded in 2012 with the aim of bringing two different worlds together. The Neuner brothers already had many years of experience working in a surveying firm and in a company specialising in electrical engineering. As early as the early 2000s, they had begun exploring ways to combine these two fields.

Driven by a passion for aviation, they initially created model aircraft and eventually fully functional drones. With the development of the twinHEX, a particularly stable aircraft optimised for surveying purposes was created – laying the foundation for the company’s subsequent success.

In the years that followed, the technology was continuously refined and improved at every level. From a small two-man operation, twins GmbH developed into a nationally recognised provider in the field of unmanned aerial systems.

Today, the company is built on three core business areas: the manufacture of its own systems and the production of bespoke hardware solutions, a comprehensive portfolio of surveying services, and a strong research and development department.

Through a balanced combination of state-of-the-art technology and many years of experience in the industry, twins GmbH offers its customers both innovative solutions and in-depth expertise.
